The
Exeter Public Library has been open for 6 months and if
you haven’t been by yet for a visit,
you are missing out on a lot of great materials, events,
and programs! Unfortunately,
the winter weather has kept many of you away, but with spring
right around the corner, we expect to see a lot of new faces
very soon. The Friends of the Exeter Public Library has not
let the winter weather stop us, but have continued to support
the needs of the library, the library staff, and those who
have ventured out to its programs.
We hold our monthly book sales and monthly Friends’ meetings in the Library
meeting room, and below is listed some of the items/materials/events that the
Friends have sponsored since the library’s opening in September:
• Opening
Day Event
• Exeter Public Library CLAN cards
• Over 20 magazine Subscriptions
• Multi-media Video Projector
• Movie Exhibition Licensing Fee
• Roger Williams Park Zoo Pass
• Historical Records Cataloging
• Linda Crotta Brennan Lecture and Book Signing
Please come and get involved.
